Add video calling, live streaming and recording to your app, and pay for it on your AWS bill.

VideoSDK is a WebRTC audio and video SDK for putting calls, live streams and recordings inside your own app. It is now listed on AWS Marketplace.

This is for teams that already run on AWS and would rather not add one more vendor bill.

What you gain by buying through AWS

  • You subscribe with the AWS account you already have.
  • You pay per minute for what you use, billed monthly on your AWS bill.
  • The subscription has no end date, and you can cancel it any time.

What you can build

You can build 1:1 calls, large group meetings, live streams, telehealth consultations, virtual classrooms and fintech onboarding flows. The SDK comes with:

  • Video conferencing with signaling and chat built in
  • Screen sharing, cloud recording and a whiteboard
  • Polls, quizzes, emoji reactions and hand raise
  • Transcription after the call, with AI-generated summaries
  • APIs to control rooms, participants, recordings and live streams

SDKs are available for Android, iOS, React, React Native and Flutter.

Keep recordings in your own AWS account

You can keep recordings on VideoSDK's storage, or connect your own Amazon S3 bucket and have them saved there.

Amnil Technologies in Nepal uses VideoSDK in V-Connect, its digital banking platform. V-Connect records sessions and exports the data directly to each bank's private storage, on Amazon S3 or MinIO. The team built a proof of concept in one week.

What customers have built

NxtQube, an India-based company, builds drone docking stations. Its operators make time-critical decisions from live drone and docking station feeds, so near-zero latency is a must. With VideoSDK, the team had a working proof of concept in under five hours. Within a week, live feeds were streaming into its React web app, and NxtQube did not need to build or maintain its own WebRTC stack.

Felicity runs online counselling in India. When its video provider was shutting down, Felicity moved to VideoSDK and added video, audio and cloud recording within a few days. Its case study reports 70% fewer technical issues in sessions.

Immigo, based in the US, runs peer-to-peer English classes for learners in 120+ countries. With limited engineering resources, it went live on VideoSDK in under a week.

What it costs

Pricing is per minute. Three rates cover a basic call:

What you useRate
Audio call$0.001 per participant per minute
HD video call (720p)$0.004 per participant per minute
HD cloud recording$0.015 per recorded minute

Two people on a 30-minute HD video call use 60 participant-minutes, which comes to $0.24. Recording that call in HD adds $0.45, plus $0.003 per stored minute if you keep the file on VideoSDK's storage.

The listing has every rate, including Full-HD, live streaming and transcription.

Security and compliance

Geo-fencing, a cloud proxy and the compliance packages are add-ons, so you pay only for the ones you need. Each has a monthly price on the listing:

Add-onPrice per month
HIPAA$500
CERT-In$500
Geo-fencing$500
Cloud proxy, for restricted networks$200
GDPR$100
SOC 2 Type 2$100
ISO 27001$100

You can also pay for any of them annually.
