What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit/debit cards (Amex, Visa, MasterCard, etc.), Link, Apple Pay, and Google Pay for checkout.

Where can I find my invoices?

Invoices are available in the Personal Center → Subscription section; click the "Change" button to view or download them.

What happens when I go over the AI usage limit on a Free Plan?

You'll still have access to reading, editing, and organising papers/notes, but features like Paper Espresso will be unavailable until you upgrade.

How do I cancel my paid plan?

Subscriptions auto-renew but can be canceled in the Subscription section of your Personal Center via the "Change" button. You'll retain access until your billing cycle ends.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds may be available if you downgrade within 24 hours of signup (excluding certain cases). Email subscription@openread.academy; do not dispute through your bank.

How are credits consumed or calculated?

With a subscription, Oat uses your quota (not purchased credits). Top-tier models consume credits. Credits = (Input tokens × input rate) + (Output tokens × output rate) for language models; for search/image-gen, credits = number of requests × request rate.
